Helen’s classes incorporate breath, circulation, endurance, voice, ukulele, piano, rhythm, public speaking, stage performance, yoga, weight training, Pilates, postural alignment, balance, coordination, flexibility, vision/hearing/sleep-improvement, walk (with or without a cane)/run/bike/swim-postural improvement, physical therapy, occupational therapy, Nada Yoga, Kriya Yoga, the 5 Tibetans, acrobatics, and dance.
WHO WE ARE
Helen is a classically-trained and self-taught singer/vocalist, ukulele and piano player. She’s studied music since age 7, performed to audiences in the hundreds all over the world, and performed solo music Saturday night residencies at Wilder Wood and Casa Dr Luz in Austin, TX, the live music capital of the world.
Having taught various subjects since 1991, she has helped people from age 0 to 90 years old in music, movement, and meditation, particularly for Creative Action and Bullock State Historical Museum in Austin, TX, Crunch Fitness in New York City, and for 24 Hour Fitness in Maui, Hawaii, and Austin, TX as Master Trainer (10,000+hours over 20 years) and for private clients in New York and Los Angeles. She has been a 5 Tibetans Yoga Practitioner for over 12 years and created modifications for all-ages.
Helenbobelen holds an Harvard Business School Executive Education Certificate and has authored two books, Suriso and B.O.S.S.Y. Control of the Hara. She’s taught business executives meditation and mindfulness in New York City and to general audiences at Locust Valley Bikram Studio. In 2016, she had a Near Death Experience and her body healed itself surgery-free within 7 days of a broken patella using modified yoga, weight training, nutrient-dense diet, and entertaining herself with ukulele and singing. She has a uniquely phenomenal VO2max outbreath/lung capacity and has taught her clients how to expand theirs. Her clients have ranked high in the Senior Olympics, learned to walk again without a cane, regained strength and flexibility after an accident, and saved themselves hundreds of thousands of dollars by improved nutrition, gradual improved postural and knee alignment and have remained surgery-free. Clients as old as 90 have improved their vocal endurance and clients as young as 2 have become more open/confident with music/movement in their social interactions.
If your professional rate is more than the rates below, her rate is your rate. Otherwise, her official sliding scale runs between $100-$275/hr. Below are general services and prices (payable online by Paypal, to be paid before or on 1st session’s day):
4 ½ Hour Sessions — $200.00.
4 ½ Hour Sessions — $160.00. (One-time introductory rate)
8 ½ Hour Sessions — $300.00
12 ½ Hour Sessions — $560.00
(Cost of instruments, instrument purchasing consultation, materials, tracks, sheet music, and books not included)

All sessions are subject to availability and rates are subject to change without further notice.
Clients agree to:
- Pre-audition for lesson eligibility.
- Arrive in a timely manner at agreed session location.
- Keep a food journal and use their bona-fide awareness to increase their nutrient content, becoming inflammation-free and mucous-free.
- Providing 24hr advanced notice for cancellation.
- For music clients, committing to music practice 5 day per week for at least 10 minutes/practice session.
- Committing to two cardiovascular session/week outside of sessions with Helen.
- For the first 3 or 4 weeks, meeting for 2 sessions /week, particularly for building positive habits for movement.
- Provide a signature attesting they are in good medical condition and have recently received permission from a medical professional to perform physical exercise/activity and hold Helen indemnity/liability-free.
- Initialize/sign off each scheduled date before each paid session.
