The meditative sweet spot is actually a physical spot in the body called the hara…a spot two fingers-width below the belly button.

A “hara-as-the-all-important-boss” acronym came to me as I’m writing these chapters on hara relaxation/control:

B.O.S.S.Y.:

1) Breathe (expand the ribcage and keep it expanded as you breathe in and out) and relax the hara so the body’s electromagnetic force reaches the brain.

2) be the Observer of your thoughts (detach from your thoughts).

3) notice the Silences between your and/or other people’s words and noises around you…this will place you in your heart/soul space…

4) notice the Spaces between material objects…this will place you in physical alignment and make you present…

5) remember your whY in life…figure out your Life’s purpose and take the next (simple) do-able step…
